Well said, or written, or typed! Anyway I read both… and I subscribe to the OCR for the puzzles and the puzzling OpEds.

LAT for the local news( the almost nonexistent Daily Pilot) and the better grasp on reality Opinions there.

Thanks Denny…

I, too, read several national papers - actually digital versions of them - daily, along with my local paper and several (admittedly progressuve) news feeds. LA, Seattle, NY Times, WAPO, HuffPo, AP feed, etc...

I'm glad that you are writing to these papers with your very cogent letters. I am too skeptical that my voice will change their editorial direction. I don't see any national papers yet forcefulky writing about the danger of the New Republicans or their wanna-be dictator.

Of course, this threat has been building for far longer than Trump's involvement, and the papers weren't paying attention then, either. From Nixon, Reagan and even Joseph McCarthy times, the forces of Mordor have been gathering outside the walls.

I hope your letters have an impact. Keep up the goid work!

I spend an hour or two reading the LATimes. I am discouraged that so few of my friends do read a newspaper every morning, especially if it is because they don’t want to read anything unpleasant.

But I was thinking myself the other day that the news lately seems rather grim, especially when papers are giving so much coverage that paints Biden in a bad light with the constant articles on polling in the Times. I do not like the Register, never have. But it is a good and less negative way to find out what the other side is thinking when compared to the Epoch.
