I must be suffering from Trump fatigue. Why? Because I thought the following idea, floated last week, was brilliant.
In exchange for a Biden pardon on all charges, excluding the $5 million he owes writer E. Jean Carroll, 45 agrees to immediately drop out of the GOP presidential race. In addition, he agrees never to seek another elective office.
Given that The Donald currently faces 78 felony charges associated with his various court cases, I think this deal is a win-win for everyone. By accepting the terms of the pardon, Trump avoids possible jail time and the nation avoids a long, drawn out constitutional crisis.
I'll be anxious to hear your reaction.

P.S. In case you are wondering, crime boss John Gotti eventually pleaded guilty to 6 federal crimes and was sentenced to more than 6 years in prison. Even if 80% of the 78 felony charges Trump currently faces are dismissed, he still will be in an epic uphill battle to stay out of jail. Take the pardon, Donald.
Yes I agree this man will never stand down, back away, admit guilt, etc. I could go on and on. I was married for only five years to a man very much like T. A pathological lier, a selfish and abusive bully. What I took away from living with that was that, like Trump, any attention, whether good or very bad attention, was still attention and that runs him. How this country let this happen is beyond me but we have a "shi_ ton" of work to do if we are going to get democracy back on the rails.
And we can expect that he will just go whimpering away quietly. When has he ever played by any rules?
