This woman is bat shit crazy. I truly don't understand how anyone could vote for her. Nothing that she says makes sense or sounds the least bit reasonable.
Not so insane. Unrealistic, maybe, or fever-dream fantasy, but to the point that she now, once again, has America's journalists, editorialsts and various pundits talking about her, she has shown that, rather than crazy, she has mastered the Trump-DeSantis-Musk-etc. ploy of redirecting the spotlight to herself.
As the old advertising/PR bromide says, "I don't care what you say about me as long as you spell my name right." No one takes that talk seriously - it's been going on for years here on eastern WA, northern ID, and eastern OR. There are state & federal constitutional reasons why it won't happen, but it doesn't matter if all you really want is headlines.
