Whiskey is for drinking and water is for fighting. As you know, I spend a lot of my time in the Eastern Sierra. Make no mistake, we are in a Fight with "environmental crazies". Indeed a Water Czar is needed, and add to that, a Fire Czar. Over used environmental litigation is killing our ability to properly manage our over-grown forests and explore new avenues for water accumulation (including smart desalination of our oceans). Global warming is clearly here. It is time for changes... And don't get me started about our looming increased need for electricity...smart nuclear should be clearly revisited.

Or should I say "Dead on", since that is where significant parts of California's economy will end up if we as a state, country and world don't deal effectively - and quickly - with the climate disaster that's happening much faster than predicted. I hope Sacramento is listening to you!
