Yearning for a simpler time

Thought for the day

Given all the turmoil we are experiencing today (i.e., the U.S. withdrawl from Afghanistan, COVID cases on the rise, Hurricane Ida, forest fires near Tahoe and more), I yearn for a simpler time when politicians stood of the floor of the House or Senate and tore each other apart.
