Think about this for a moment. From Trump Tower to the White House and from Georgia to Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump routinely leaves people disillusioned and broken.
We saw this when Cassidy Hutchinson, an aide to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, testified in June before the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection.
Now, we are seeing it again as Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organization's long time CFO, pleaded guilty to tax fraud earlier this week. Not once. Not twice. Weisselberg pleaded guilty 15 times!
I am not a lawyer, but my guess is Trump eventually will be found guilty of at least one major crime. Will it be the fake elector scheme hatched in the Oval Office, taking classified documents to Florida, or inciting the riot at the Capitol? No matter which crime it is, rest assured Trump will leave scores of people disillusioned at best and broken at worst.
Why do people think Trump should run for president in 2024?

Our country has been turned upside down by so many people willing to follow a cult leader doing anything he says and believing anything other than reality. I don't know what to do. Our front page Mercury News today says California doesn't think Biden should run again in 2024. And it says that our state dems favor Newsom over Harris. What ever works to get Trump behind bars; if Newsom not Harris, just please keep democracy from death.
There is so much that this two-bit crook has done, it seems to me that the DOJ has many choices. But, it is all about evidence. I would hope before I pass that I will see him in an orange jump suit! What an insult to democracy.
