It took former President Donald Trump more than 3 hours to tell the Jan. 6 rioters to leave the Capitol and "go home in peace." 

Two days (48 hours!) after the story broke about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband being attacked in their San Francisco home, Trump still remains silent. Not so former vice president Mike Pence, Senators Mitch McConnell and Ted Cruz, Rep. Steve Scalise, and many other Republicans (including one Liz Cheney). What does Trump's silence say about the man? He is soulless. 

For the good of the country, GOP lawmakers and rank and file Republicans must prevent him from running for president in 2024.
