This past weekend, an old friend and I found ourselves talking about Colin Kaepernick. For those who don't remember, when CK took a knee during the playing of the National Anthem back in 2016, it resulted in a prolonged, national controversy (and his early retirement from pro football).
Replaying our conversation last night as I was preparing dinner, I couldn't help but remember the times I've taken a knee. Several had to do with team sports; others, were in support of a cause (like social justice or peace in Ukraine). All of which makes me wonder: Have you done the same? If so, I’d love to see your photo/s.

I haven't been photographed taking a knee but I have done so many times. First for Colin Kaepernick, then for Ukraine and maybe others. I haven't been in a public position that anyone cares, but I have written about it. I totaly support the right to speak out, whether behind a pulpit or taking a knee.
