The New York Times reports there were 7 takeaways from yesterday's elections. They include "There's nothing like abortion to aid Democrats," ... "In Virginia, a Republican rising star faces an eclipse," and 5 others. Actually, I think there should be an 8th takeaway. Here it is:
Donald Trump's name did not appear on any ballots Tuesday, but his presence certainly was felt in Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Call me cynical, but I'm waiting for the former president to attack the election results as (1) rigged and (2) monitored by corrupt poll workers. Does anyone expect him to say anything different?

what’s taking place in the rest of the world right now.
