I couldn't help but notice how many times the Raiders were able to impact Justin Herbert's timing while standing in the pocket yesterday. From grabbing his legs to hurrying his passes, the Black & Silver was able to throw the Chargers' QB off balance numerous times during the game.
My remedy? Have Herbert stand at least one yard deeper when taking snaps in the shotgun position. Three feet doesn't sound like much, but it will give him a much-needed extra second to plant his feet and throw downfield before the defense can disrupt his timing at best or throw him for a loss at worst.
(Disclaimer: Take what I say with a grain of salt. I played QB sixty years ago in junior high school.)

I was pulling for the Raiders, but since Herbert is a Duck, I wanted a tie!
