I’m sorry. Overlooking the other mega story of the day, the sudden collapse of a 12-story condo tower near Miami, was a big mistake on my part. Looking back, I should have included it below.

I think I’m suffering whiplash from all the news yesterday (Thursday).

First, President Joe Biden announced he and a bipartisan group of 10 senators reached an agreement on an infrastructure bill. Second, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reported she is establishing a select committee to investigate the January 6 riot at the Capitol. And third, the New York Supreme Court suspended the law license of Donald Trump’s former fixer Rudy Giuliani.

Individually, each story is enough to make one’s head spin. However, bunched together like they were on a single day, I have to say the impact of all three announcements is close to overwhelming.
