The response to Nury Martinez's "little monkey" comment has been swift and clear, unlike the silence regarding U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville's racist comment.  From Los Angeles city council colleagues to the mayor to lawmakers in Washington, virtually every Democrat asked has condemned Martinez's taped remark.  Not so when it comes to Tuberville's Senate colleagues or rank and file Republicans.  Almost without exception, it has been crickets from the GOP.  If you are trying to decide which party and/or its candidates to support in November, look no further than these two examples.  One has been remarkably straightforward while the other has been non-existent.
