The late, great Jess Unruh used to say, "Money is the mother's milk of politics." Considering Elon Musk spent a quarter of a billion dollars to help return Donald Trump to the White House, I'd say the world's richest man has redefined what "mom's milk" looks and tastes like.
Fifty-odd years ago, 3M secretly created a $500,000 slush fund for Richard Nixon's 1972 reelection effort. That discovery and others resulted in several new campaign finance laws. Not too long ago, $1 million was considered an obscene amount of money for one person to spend on a presidential campaign. Today, thanks to Musk, the sky's limit when it comes to spending.
Clearly, the fruits of Musk's version of mother's milk are sweet, juicy victory. If you ask me, there oughta be a law.

Kamala spent over 2 billion and lost! Deal with it! Trump won on less than half
America’s democrats are now scrambling trying to come up with excuses as to why Kamala Harris lost in her bid to become president of the United States.
In the past 4 years, they seem to have blamed Donald J. Trump for every problem, real or imagined, that America has faced. I guess even the democrats are getting tired of blaming Trump for everything so now they have named a new scapegoat: Elon Musk.
I don’t buy it. Not for a minute. Elon Musk donated his hard-earned money to the Trump campaign. I am sure Kamala Harris would have welcomed Elon’s money, no questions asked.
Let’s get real. Kamala Harris lost not because of Elon’s money to Trump bur because she was a lousy candidate; a candidate that American’s decided they did not like her policies once they got to know them.
For me, I found myself upset that she could never seem to just answer a question when a reporter or a member of the public would ask. For example, many times when someone would ask a question, she would not even attempt to answer them but instead direct them to her campaign website which I guess had all the answers. What nonsense.
She had advantages that Donald Trump could only dream of. In addition to a friendly media, it was reported that she was tipped off to the questions that certain TV anchors would ask her.
This, in addition to the fact that the majority of Hollywood celebrities could never stop talking about how great she was, well, you get the idea..
And I did not even mention the dozens of times she would change her policy positions right in the middle of the campaign. Back in 2020, “the Border Czar” could care less about the border (having never visited it) then during the campaign she became more tough on the border than Donald Trump. Then she was again fracking but suddenly became a strong advocate of it. What else, she opposed taxing tips for restaurant workers but before she wanted this taxed!
She tried to copy Trump on almost everything, even playing his signature “Y.M.C.A” song at some of campaign rallies. People saw right through her clownish campaign.
Now the Harris campaign claims that she lost the election because of “racism”;
“misogyny”; “xenophobia”; “sexism”; “homophobia”, and the list goes on.
What malarky!
Back to the money, Kamala only spent 1 billion dollars more than Trump. Where did all the money go? An investigation is in order, perhaps?
