Several thoughts for the day

Yes, I know today is a big day for football fans, but here are a few ideas to think about while you’re watching the game this afternoon.

First, Re: Where do Democrats go from here? … I've read several opinion pieces on the topic but very few people have raised the following two questions: Who is writing Project 2029 and when will it be published? If you ask me, the sooner there is clarity on my party's goals and objectives, the better our chances are of taking back the House, Senate and White House. Looking at the results of the 2024 election, isn't this the lesson Project 2025 taught Republicans?

Second, did you read my letter in Friday’s New York Post? Here it is.

If all politics is local, then why all the talk about the United States taking over Gaza? Whatever happened to the notion of “America First?”

And third, Donald Trump has announced his plan to fire the Kennedy Center trustees and appoint himself chair. Here is the letter I just sent newspapers.
