Last week, we learned that in the aftermath of the 2020 election, Donald Trump instructed his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani to ask the Department of Homeland Security whether it could seize voting machines in three swing states which then-candidate Trump had lost to Joe Biden.
If that wasn’t enought, last weekend, Trump revealed his complicity in undermining the will of the people. Trump stated that his Vice President Mike Pence “could have overturned the election” undermining the votes of 81 million Americans who voted for Biden.
Not to be outdone, two days ago, the defeated president urged the House select panel to investigate Pence’s failure to stop the electoral vote count and peaceful transfer of power. (Only Trump would call for action against a public official for upholding the Constitution and following the law.)
In response to Trump’s actions and comments, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), a member of the select committee replied on Twitter, “It’s time for every Republican to pick a side … Trump or the Constitution, there is no middle on defending the nation anymore.”
I agree with Kinzinger. As a corollary to the backdrop, above, let me add some personal reflections. They are:
Memo to the vast majority of Republicans who believe Donald Trump won the 2020 election ... please answer the following two questions:
First, how is it that virtually no one else on the ballots in question -- from House and Senate candidates to thousands of mayors, city council and school board members -- think their election results were rigged, but the former president still believes his votes were switched?
And second, exactly how could Trump's votes (and his alone) be tampered with and/or manipulated when no other votes were changed?
Until you answer these two questions, I say this: Sixty courts rejected the former president's claims of voter fraud, as did the Supreme Court three times, so stop with the "Stop the Steal" baloney.
It's time to man up (if it's OK to say that in today's gender-particular world) and admit Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election. Period. End of discussion.

Hi Denny, to answer your questions from my vantage point and perspective. Both questions go to the same point and answer. This issue and your question have been framed as 'voter fraud.' The real question that all Americans should want an answer to is: IS it possible to manipulate the vote counts via an internet connection in our elections? Please ask yourself that question. Then remember how our CIA, in conjunction with other security forces, have admitted to how they successfully manipulated vote counts in many other countries elections that changed their outcomes. All Americans should want secure vote counts and elections determined by only our citizen's legitimate votes. Respectfully, Michael A Maxsenti
Good post Denny!
