Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene never fails to disappoint. Her gaffes are becoming legendary. Consider these four examples:
- First, who can forget those "Jewish space lasers" Taylor Greene claimed were responsible for the 2018 wildfires in California? A comment like that probably is the product of her watching too many "Star Wars" movies.
- Last year, the GOP Georgia lawmaker said she made a mistake comparing mask mandates and COVID vaccine mandates to the Holocaust. Yeah, try explaining that to the 6 million Jews who were sent to all those Nazi death camps.
- More recently, Taylor Greene complained that "gazpacho police" were patrolling the U.S. Capitol building. She must have been watching "Seinfeld" when she mixed up a cold, Spanish soup with the brutal German secret police of WWII.
- Yesterday, Taylor Greene was mocked for her tweet containing various grammatical errors, including a reference to President Biden as "commander and chief." If only she had studied harder in her high school civics class.
Who knows what the discredited member of Congress will say next? Maybe ketchup is a vegetable? Wait. Ronald Reagan already made that claim.
