Former Trump White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow has a habit of misreading the tea leaves. Back in February of 2020, he publicly declared the administration had controlled the spread of COVID. A month later, he sheepishly retracted that statement. Because he had never gone to medical school, I questioned Kudlow's knowledge and/or authority to make such a wild declaration in the first place.
Today, Kudlow has been forced to offer another retraction. This one covers his many doom and gloom statements about the Biden economy. With the news that a whopping 353,000 new jobs were added to the workforce last month, here's what Kudlow said Thursday on Fox News: "Mea culpa. I was wrong about the slowdown and the recession." Yeah, Larry, no kidding.
So here's a suggestion. Don't believe a word Larry Kudlow says. Instead of hosting Fox Business on Cable, I urge Kudlow to find a new line of work. You know, the kind of job where he can use his hands digging ditches or building things because he certainly doesn't know how to interpret important medical or economic indicators.
