It's been more than twenty years since two students shocked the nation when they shot and killed 12 classmates at Columbine High School in Colorado.
Since then, more than 300 kids have been gunned down while in school. Repeat, while in school.
Their ages range from six at Sandy Hook to college-age at Virginia Tech. A few days ago, four teenagers were shot and killed at Oxford High School in Michigan.
This isn't the first time I have asked presidents to convene a Camp David summit on the topic, and most likely won't be the last.
Nonetheless, I have to again ask, "With all this carnage, why are kids killing kids?"
In my opinion, this a question a civilized society needs to answer -- and the sooner the better.
