Wow. I've seen a lot of bow ties in my time, but none as out of whack as Joe Biden's. At one point during the White House Correspondents' Dinner last night, the president pulled on his bow tie to the point where it rested at 5 and 11 (instead of 3 and 9 on the clock).
Given the fact I will be wearing a tuxedo and bow tie at my son's wedding later this month, you can understand my concern; but, don't worry. I know how to keep my bow tie in place. It's called double-sided scotch tape. You put tape on the backside of the bow tie and affix tape to your shirt. Press the two together and guess what? Your bow tie is "glued" in place for the duration of the evening.
If only someone in the White House had helped the president get dressed before Saturday's dinner event.
