It's not every day three of Donald Trump's key supporters get hammered, but it sure did happen today.
First, a federal judge ruled that Rudy Giuliani is guilty of defaming Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shaye Moss;
Second, a judge has rejected Peter Navarro's "executive privilege" claim for refusing to testify before the Jan. 6 House Committee; and,
Third, John Eastman, the attorney who came up with the illegal presidential elector scheme and still claims there was widespread election fraud in 2020, was publicly rebuked by Fox News host Laura Ingraham.
As for the former president, here's what he told radio host Glenn Beck when asked, "Will you lock up your political opponents (i.e, Joe Biden and friends) if re-elected?" "There is no other choice" Trump replied.
I know Giuliani, Navarro, Eastman and Trump are innocent until proven guilty, but who do they think they are? More to the point, who do you think they are?

I think they are part of, and puppets of, a group of power obsessed oligarchs who are willing to destroy American democracy to cement the plutocracy they long for. None of the people you mentioned are very smart, but are propped up by very wealthy people who don't want justice or government that doesn't serve them personally, and have the money to buy the theorists they need and the lawyers to implement their plan. They are taking advantage of 50 years of neoliberal strategy to undermine the Constitution and convince the populace it's to their benefit. Unfortunately, 50 years of dumbing down the people and destroying public education have served to further their goals.
Where there is smoke, there is fire -- and geez, the country has been smoke filled for a couple of years.
