60,000 COVID deaths in Calif.

Thought for the day

The number of Californians who have died in a little more than a year has now exceeded all U.S. deaths during the Vietnam War (which, by the way, raged on for more than a decade).  A national monument honoring these 58,000 American troops was unveiled in 1982.  My hope is California's 60,000 will be among the hundreds of thousands of COVID-19 victims similarly honored some day.
